Managing Partner
Schuyler Rooke
Schuyler Rooke is the founder of Mid-Atlantic Partners, born from his deep passion for working with small businesses throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. While many professionals lean heavily into either analytics or business development, Schuyler has deliberately cultivated both skill sets, enabling him to deliver balanced, strategic execution. What truly sets him apart is his relentless energy and unwavering confidence in his ability to drive results for his clients.
Prior to launching Mid-Atlantic Partners, Schuyler held key roles across the investment and corporate strategy landscape, including:
• Vice President at a lower middle market private equity firm
• Manager of Strategy, FP&A, and Corporate Development at a NASDAQ-traded healthcare services company
• Senior Deals Associate in PwC’s Strategic Value Consulting group
• Analyst at a boutique lower middle market investment bank
Schuyler holds a BA in Economics and English Literature from Bucknell University and an MBA from Rutgers Business School.
He actively supports causes and ecosystems he believes in. He serves as a Board Member for the Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter in East Hanover, NJ, where he champions new initiatives to improve animal wellbeing. Schuyler is also a member of the Country Roads Angel Network (CRAN), where he supports West Virginia-based entrepreneurs with access to capital, strategic guidance, and mentorship.
Schuyler lives in Bucks County, PA, with his wife Rian, their daughters Josephine and Audrey, and their dog Beatrice.

Partner
Will Griffin
Will Griffin founded Mid-Atlantic Partners based on his passion for working with and improving small- and medium-sized businesses in his hometown region. Skilled at both data analysis and processes development, Will is keen to leverage analytics to drive efficiencies and identify revenue opportunities.
Prior to founding Mid-Atlantic, Will was the Director of Finance at Ramp Health, a corporate healthcare services company. Previously, will worked at PwC as a Senior Associate in the M&A Advisory practice, focused on buy-side private equity due diligence and sell-side strategic divestiture planning. Before going to business school, Will spent several years in advanced analytics, first at Nielsen consulting for brands like P&G, Mars, and General Mills, as well as in-house at Kraft Heinz on the Sales Analytics team.

Will received a BA from Middlebury College and an MBA from Cornell University where he graduated with academic honors and was the recipient of the Eric Beringause Merit Scholarship. He is in process of earning a Masters in Mathematics from Villanova University.

Administrative Officer
Rian Rooke
Rian Rooke is the glue that holds Mid-Atlantic Partners together. Her relentless commitment to making the everyday complicated tasks easy, allows the firm to reach new heights. Hand her a rubber band, paper clip, and toothpick, and she'd make a mousetrap.
Previously Rian ran event operations, management and coordination for Jean-Georges Hospitality in New York City.
Rian graduated with a BA in Psychology from Columbia University with honors in 2019.

Data Strategist
Beekman Schaeffer
Beekman Schaeffer brings eight years of combined academic and professional experience in Data Science. At Mid-Atlantic Partners, he supports reporting, marketing automation, CRM strategy, and database management. He has a strong passion for data-driven problem solving and has completed a wide range of data science projects across multiple industries. Before joining Mid-Atlantic Partners, Beekman worked with Jenkins Sugar Group, Food Rescue US, FirstEnergy, and Snap Creative. These roles deepened his interest in machine learning, automation, ETL processes, and futures trading. Beekman holds a B.S. and M.S. in Data Science from St. Joseph’s University and Quinnipiac University, respectively. Outside of work, he was a starting singles and doubles player on both schools’ Division I tennis teams. He currently resides in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

Summer Analyst
Mac Jordan
Mac Jordan is a third-year student at Bucknell University, studying Business Analytics in the Freeman College of Management. At Mid-Atlantic Partners, he focuses mainly on content creation, data curation, and pipeline development. Throughout his first two years at Bucknell, Mac has gained valuable skills in analytical problem-solving and has developed a passion for entrepreneurship. In his sophomore year, Mac collaborated with other Bucknell students, through the flagship course of Freeman College, to support small businesses in the central Pennsylvania area. In this fully student-led company, Mac successfully managed the business analytics division. This experience, alongside professional experiences outside of Bucknell, have propelled his passion for collaborating with others to reach a common goal. Mac is currently pursuing a B.S. in Business Administration.

Advisory Board

Dr. Mark Koppel
Mark Koppel, J.D, M.D. is a seasoned executive with almost 20 years of experience in corporate growth. He brings a wealth of expertise with particular strengths in areas such as business development, product development, sales and marketing, value proposition creation, mergers and acquisitions, and fundraising.
Currently, Dr. Koppel manages a small venture capital fund focused on healthcare, technology, real estate, and consumer goods where he has invested in and owned dozens of low to middle market companies and driven several to successful exits. Dr. Koppel has also served as an executive for companies such as Hillrom, Exact Sciences, Pentax Medical, General Electric, and Wolters Kluwer among others.
In addition to his executive career, Dr. Koppel has served as an advisor and consultant to several seed and growth stage companies and currently serves as a Mentor at MATTER, an incubator in Chicago. He also sits on several advisory boards for a diverse range of companies.
Prior to his work as an anesthesiologist, Dr. Koppel was a practicing healthcare attorney focusing on defense litigation for insurers, hospitals and physician practices.

Miroslav Draganov
Miroslav Draganov is a serial entrepreneur, social impact maker, international
collaborator, business consultant, mentor, and trainer. He bring extensive knowledge and expertise specifically in the Information Technologies (IT) sector
pertaining to product development. His experience allows him to practically
partner with the companies he serves by designing actionable roadmaps that
mitigate risks and maximize returns for earlier stage private enterprises.
Miroslav works across the European continent advising and working in various
functions within the IT industry. Leveraging his know-how in product development, he routinely elevates various organizations by applying a foundation of digital skills that include but are not limited to, information processing, content creation, problem solving, user experience, risk and safety, and overall application proficiency evaluation.

He is the CEO, Co-founder, and Board Member for WIDNET Solutions Sp.z.o.o
for centralized human resources management based in Kielce, Poland. Further, he was an International Partner of Macedonia-US-based IT company Involve Dev and Macedonia-based IT company FoxIT. Additionally, he passionately serves as a consultant, trainer, and mentor for social enterprise Co-Creators that works with various enterprises and start-ups.

Fluent in English, Macedonian, and Serbian, Miroslav’s education and cultural awareness is vast. He attended the High School for Economics and Law, received
his Bachelor of Law, and his Masters in Constitutional Law at Iustinianus Primus
Law Faculty in Skopje, Macedonia.

Roger Braunfeld
Roger J. Braunfeld is a founding partner at Royer Cooper Cohen Braunfeld LLC. He focuses on financing and development strategies and transactions for investors and a wide array of businesses in various stages of development. Among other things, Roger’s practice encompasses fund formation, private equity and venture capital transactions, debt and equity offerings, mergers and acquisitions, real estate and corporate restructurings, as well as a range of business and commercial transactions, agreements and general business counseling.
Roger is also actively involved in strategic opportunities for the firm, including the creation of an alternative investment platform that has deployed more than $300M. Roger is a founding member of the PA 30 Day Fund, chairman of the Board of ESF Dream Camp, and a trustee of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia.

Scott Chesky
Scott Chesky is the founder and Managing Partner of Chesky Partners, a boutique investment bank based in NYC. Scott has spent the majority of his career in investment banking, primarily focused on merger and acquisition advisory for middle-market healthcare, technology & business services companies. He has advised clients on a wide variety of strategic transactions ranging in value from less than $1 million to over $1 billion.
Scott also has significant corporate strategy and operating experience, having served as Executive Vice President of InfuSystem Holdings, Inc. (NYSE American: INFU), a leading provider of infusion pumps and related services to hospitals, oncology practices and other alternate site healthcare providers. In this role, he was responsible for development and execution of the company’s strategic direction through acquisitions, creation of new lines of business and formation of strategic partnerships. Scott was also an integral part of the senior management team and administered the full range of typical day-to-day operating issues faced by middle-market companies.
Scott has previous experience analyzing potential investments for a venture capital firm and as the director of finance for a private, grant-making foundation. Scott began his career in public accounting at KPMG, where he performed financial statement audits for companies in a variety of industries and identified opportunities for improved efficiencies in financial reporting, internal controls and business operations. Scott earned the designations of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Philip Kearney
Philip Kearney is a seasoned Chief Operating Officer and Advisor who specializes in partnering with founders and business owners to navigate the complexities of organizational growth and achieve sustainable profitability.
Currently, Philip is the COO and Co-founder of SymetryML, federated Ai for real-world healthcare research, working with top healthcare & biopharmas to unlock the full potential of the world’s data by transforming collaboration and AI-driven analytics.
He has also held executive advisor roles for CNN, The Recording Academy, Inc/Fast Company, and NBC Regional Sports Network leading large-scale strategic growth, profitability, and digital transformation efforts. Philip's extensive professional journey also includes serving as SVP/GM of American Media, where he successfully digitized tabloids and spearheaded the relaunch of RadarOnline, a project recognized with national awards for its exceptional reporting. He was the author of the global digital brand strategies for Elle Magazine as well as for Genentech’s Herceptin.
Philip helped launch the first pharmaceutical web site in 1993, worked on one of the first dynamic content management systems in 1997, and designed one of the first social media influencer networks in 2007.
Philip's passion for sharing knowledge has led him to be a guest lecturer at the University of Michigan Dearborn and Bucknell University. In 2021, he was invited as the Keynote Speaker at Cornell University's Big Red Hacks, where he inspired and motivated aspiring talents. Notably, Philip was the founder of the Fairleigh Dickinson University's Graduate Career Development Center and was a founding member of Bucknell University's Alumni Professional Network.
