Managing Partner
Schuyler Rooke
Schuyler Rooke is the founder of Mid-Atlantic Partners, born from his deep passion for working with small businesses throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. While many professionals lean heavily into either analytics or business development, Schuyler has deliberately cultivated both skill sets, enabling him to deliver balanced, strategic execution. What truly sets him apart is his relentless energy and unwavering confidence in his ability to drive results for his clients.

Schuyler gained critical institutional training at PricewaterhouseCoopers' (PwC) Deals group, where he focused on strategic valuation for household S&P 500 companies and blue-chip asset managers in the private equity space. He also brings direct experience across both private and public finance engagements, positioning him to navigate complex capital structures, budget constraints, and the execution timelines that govern them.

Prior to launching Mid-Atlantic Partners, Schuyler held key roles across the investment and corporate strategy landscape, including Vice President at a lower middle market private equity firm, Manager of Strategy, FP&A, and Corporate Development at a NASDAQ-traded healthcare services company, and an Analyst at a boutique lower middle market investment bank. Across these roles, he has consummated over $300M+ in direct M&A and transaction advisory engagements over a longstanding career.

On a personal level, Schuyler possesses deep roots and longstanding ties to the State of West Virginia — a region he cares about deeply and one where he is actively developing initiatives to stimulate economic growth and unlock the untapped potential of the Mountain State.

Schuyler holds a BA in Economics and English Literature from Bucknell University and an MBA from Rutgers Business School. He actively supports causes and ecosystems he believes in, serving as a Board Member for the Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter in East Hanover, NJ, where he champions new initiatives to improve animal wellbeing.

Schuyler lives in Bucks County, PA, with his wife and colleague Rian, their daughters Josephine and Audrey, and their dog Beatrice.

Administrative Officer
Rian Rooke
Rian Rooke is the glue that holds Mid-Atlantic Partners together. Her relentless commitment to making the everyday complicated tasks look effortless allows the firm to operate well above its weight class. Hand her a rubber band, a paper clip, and a toothpick, and she'd build you a mousetrap — and probably flip it for a profit.

Previously, Rian ran event operations, management, and coordination for Jean-Georges Hospitality in New York City, where she was entrusted with establishing and upholding the Jean-Georges brand standard across both existing locations and new openings. That meant owning every detail — from concept through execution — ensuring that each property delivered an experience consistent with one of the world's most exacting hospitality brands. The discipline of translating a luxury vision into a physical space, on budget and on standard, gave Rian a foundation that extends far beyond the restaurant world.

That experience has translated directly into a keen eye for real estate. Rian has developed hands-on expertise acquiring, renovating, and repositioning residential properties — laying out detailed project budgets, executing against a clear design vision, and identifying emerging micro-markets before the broader market catches on. Her ability to see value where others see risk mirrors the same thesis that drives Mid-Atlantic's approach to investing in small businesses.
In addition to her work at Mid-Atlantic, Rian is a luxury real estate specialist with Compass New Hope, serving Bucks County, Montgomery County, and the surrounding Pennsylvania and New Jersey markets. Her background connecting discerning clients to high-value assets, combined with her operational rigor and sharp negotiation instincts, positions her to become a formidable presence in one of the Mid-Atlantic's most dynamic residential corridors.

Rian graduated with a BA in Psychology from Columbia University with honors in 2019.
